   All matters listed under Consent Calendar are considered to be routine and can be enacted in one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items prior to the time the Board votes on the motion unless members of the Board, staff or public request specific items to be discussed or removed from the Consent Calendar for specific action.

   1. Authorizing Resolution for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Grant Documents. (Attachment)

      RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 1-09 authorizing the Transit Manager to execute all federal grant and contract documents under Sections 5307, 5310, 5311, 5316, 5317 and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

   2. Annual Authorization for the Transit Manager to Certify as Counsel for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Grants. (Attachment)

      RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 2-09 authorizing the Transit Manager to certify as counsel for FTA grants.

   3. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goal for FY 2009-2010. (Attachment)

      RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 3-09 establishing a DBE contracting goal of one percent for FY 2009-2010 and authorizing the publication of the goal for review and comment.

   4. Shady Creek Outdoor Education Foundation Service Donation Request. (Attachment)

      RECOMMENDATION: Direct staff as desired.

   5. Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Grant Opportunities. Discussion and direction regarding possible federal Job Access & Reverse Commute; New Freedom; and, Elderly & Disabled Specialized Transit grant applications for FY 2009. (Attachment)

      RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the submittal of FFY 2009 FTA Job Access and Reverse Commute Program and New Freedom Program grant applications as proposed.
