Temporary Shuttle Bus to Serve the New Peach Tree Clinic & Yuba County Office Building Beginning Monday, September 10th

The Peach Tree Clinic along with Yuba County's Health and Human Services Department and Child Support Services have all moved from the Feather River Center (formerly the Peach Tree Mall) to a new building less than a mile south at 5730 Packard Avenue just west of Lindhurst Avenue in Linda.

Regularly scheduled Yuba-Sutter Transit service to this new location will not begin until Monday, October 15th when Route 4B will be modified to continue south on Lindhurst Avenue from the North Beale Transit Center to a new stop at the front of the new building. This change will result in the elimination of the existing Route 4B stops at both the old Peach Tree Clinic location and at the Food Maxx store in the Feather River Center.

For continued transit access to the clinic and the other services that are available at the new building until Route 4B is extended, a temporary shuttle bus will be operated beginning Monday, September 10th between the North Beale Transit Center and the Peach Tree Clinic. This free service will operate continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each weekday through Friday October 12th.

The shuttle bus will depart every 15 minutes on the quarter hour from the Feather River Center parking lot right behind the bus stop shelters and bike lockers on the south side of the North Beale Transit Center. The shuttle route will include a stop at Food Maxx on the way to the new Peach Tree Clinic site. On the return trip, the shuttle bus will travel non-stop back to the starting point at the North Beale Transit Center. The first bus will leave the North Beale Transit Center at 8:00 a.m. and the last bus will leave at 4:45 p.m.

This temporary service is being funded by Yuba County and is subject to change or elimination without notice if passenger demand is insufficient to justify its operation.

Call 742-2877 (742-BUSS) for more information.
