CONFERENCE ROOM #1
915 EIGHTH STREET, MARYSVILLE
3:00 P.M - 5:00 P.M.

A special meeting of the Yuba-Sutter Transit Board of Directors has been set for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2007 in Conference Room #1 of the Yuba County Government Center at 915 Eighth Street in Marysville. The primary purpose of this public meeting is a workshop on goals, objectives and standards for the update of the 2003 Yuba-Sutter Short Range Transit Plan.

This workshop will set the stage for the development of the 2008 plan as the project consultants will review their early work and seek direction and input on the stages to follow. Key issues to be addressed include service availability, minimum performance standards, service quality and cost effectiveness.

Following the workshop, a wide range of alternative service, financial, capital and organizational scenarios will be developed and analyzed for the draft plan which will be the subject of another workshop in January or February 2008. Adoption of a new transit plan is expected by March with implementation to begin as early as July 2008.
