Weather Forces Change in the Parking Shuttle for the Annual Sikh Parade

Due to expected weather conditions throughout the weekend, plans for the free off-site parking lot shuttle service for the annual Sikh Parade on Sunday, November 2, 2008 have been changed. The primary off-site parking lots will now be at River Valley High School where Yuba-Sutter Transit buses will pick-up passengers in the small visitor parking lot on Spirit Way between Harter Parkway and El Margarita Road.
Buses will operate continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. between River Valley High School and the Sikh Temple on True Road in Tierra Buena. Buses will depart each of these locations every five to ten minutes during the entire service period. Should additional space be necessary, parking attendants will be available to direct cars to supplemental lots from where shuttle services will also be offered.
