Stuff-A-Bus For "National Make A Difference Day"

Yuba-Sutter Transit and the employees of its contractor, Veolia Transportation Services, are teaming up with the Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Yuba City and Thread & Ink to kick off our first Annual Canned Food Drive on Saturday, October 24th which is "National Make A Difference Day."

These organizations are jointly dedicating their time and resources to this effort with the goal being to "Stuff-A-Bus" with non-perishable food for distribution to needy local families this holiday season and we are asking others to help "Make A Difference" as well.

Donations of non-perishable food items or cash donations that will be used to purchase such items will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24th at all three of the following locations.

• Grocery Outlet - 1721 Colusa Avenue, Yuba City
• Bel Air Market - 1286 Stabler Lane, Yuba City
• Wal-Mart (Linda) - 1131 North Beale Road, Marysville

Just look for the Yuba-Sutter Transit bus in the parking lot where our personnel will be standing by to accept your donations. Anything you can do will help because together we can "Make A Difference" in our community.
