Route 5 to Detour for Lincoln Road Closure

Beginning Tuesday, November 17th, Lincoln Road west of Highway 99 will be closed to all traffic from Buchannan Road to Highway 99 for a major underground project by the City of Yuba City. This closure is now scheduled to continue through February 2010.

During this project, Yuba-Sutter Transit's Route 5 will use Richland Road instead of Lincoln Road between Walton Avenue and Highway 99. As a result, Route 5 service to the southbound bus stop on Walton Avenue at McCune Avenue and the eastbound bus stop on Lincoln Road near Cress Drive will be suspended until the closure ends. All other Route 5 stops will continue to be served as scheduled.
