Several changes to Yuba-Sutter Transit's regular and supplemental Sacramento Commuter and Midday service will become effective Monday, January 4th. East Nicolaus will no longer be served by any Yuba-Sutter Transit schedule. As a result, the 1st and 3rd morning Highway 70 schedules will start five minutes later to reflect the reduced travel time. Several changes are also being made to Yuba-Sutter Transit's existing supplemental Sacramento service.

In the morning, the existing 3rd morning Highway 70 supplemental bus, which currently serves only the Plumas Lake Park & Ride Lot, will instead become a non-stop express bus that will leave the Yuba County Government Center in Marysville at 6:35 AM with an estimated 7:20 AM arrival at the first stop in downtown Sacramento.

In the afternoon, the existing 1st and 2nd afternoon Highway 70 supplemental buses will start their downtown loops from J & 4th at 4:00 and 4:30 PM which is five minutes later than they do now. The existing 1st afternoon Highway 99 supplemental bus will continue to start the downtown loop from J & 4th at 3:40 PM. Supplemental service is operated Monday - Thursday (except during holiday periods), but such service is subject to change without notice in response to passenger demand or the availability of both equipment and drivers.

New Sacramento brochures are now available on all commuter buses or call 530-634-6880 to receive one by mail. The brochure is also posted on-line at www.yubasuttertransit.com. Call 530-742-2877 for more information.
