Proposed Sacramento Commuter and Midday Express Fare Increase

The Yuba-Sutter Transit Board of Directors has set a public hearing at the above date, place and time to accept comments on a proposed July 1, 2010 fare increase for the Sacramento Commuter and Midday Express services. As proposed, the basic one-way cash fare would increase from $3.50 to $4.00 and the discount one-way cash fare would increase from $1.75 to $2.00. The discount fare is only available on the Midday service. The cost of a monthly Sacramento pass, which is valid on both services, would increase from $112 to $128.

Interested persons may submit testimony regarding the proposed fare increase, either verbally or in writing, before or at the public hearing. All written communication must be received either at or prior to the hearing to be considered. Verbal testimony can be provided in person at the hearing or by telephone prior to the hearing.
