Yuba-Sutter Transit Authority Public Hearing Notice
Proposed Sacramento Service Changes
April 20, 2010 The Yuba-Sutter Transit Board of Directors has set a public hearing at the above date, place and time to receive comments on possible stop and schedule changes to Yuba-Sutter Transit's existing Sacramento services. The proposed changes are designed to enhance reverse commute options particularly for those who commute from Sacramento to the Caltrans District 3 office in Marysville. The resulting Sacramento route and schedule changes, if any, would become effective on or after July 1, 2010. The proposed service changes would affect only the 1st AM Highway 99 and the 6th PM Highway 99 schedules and include a new reverse commute bus stop north of downtown Sacramento along with a new bus stop at the Caltrans building in Marysville. Depending on the final location of the new Sacramento stop, the 1st AM Highway 99 schedule would begin five to ten minutes earlier and the 6th PM Highway 99 schedule would end five to ten minutes later each weekday. The current service brochure is on-line at www.yubasuttertransit.com. Copies are also available from the Yuba-Sutter Transit Administrative Office at 2100 B Street, Marysville, CA during normal business hours or call (530) 634-6880 to request one by mail. Interested persons may submit testimony regarding the proposed changes, either verbally or in writing, before or at the public hearing. Written testimony can be provided by mail to Yuba-Sutter Transit at 2100 B Street, Marysville, CA 95901, by FAX at (530) 634-6888 or by e-mail to the Transit Manager at keith_martin@sbcglobal.net.
