Free Off-Site Parking Shuttle to be Provided for the Annual Touch A Truck (Or Bus) Event
Yuba-Sutter Transit will again be operating a free off-site parking shuttle service for the annual Playzeum’s “Touch A Truck” event. This popular event is held at the Playzeum Yuba-Sutter site in south Yuba City at 1980 South Walton Avenue from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18th.
The Yuba-Sutter Transit shuttle will operate continuously from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. between the Caltrans Park and Ride Lot at the corner of Bogue Road and Highway 99 and the Playzeum site, where parking is limited. The shuttle bus will operate every 10 to 15 minutes from both locations.
Participating kids will be able to touch and get behind the wheel of vehicles that could include a helicopter, garbage truck, tractor, semi-truck, tow truck, disaster response vehicle, fire truck, street sweeper, dump truck, police car and many others. In addition to the attraction of riding a transit bus (where kids will not be allowed behind the wheel), another bus will be available on site for further exploration.
For more shuttle information, contact Yuba-Sutter Transit at (530) 742-2877. For event information, contact the Playzeum at (530)763-5134 or at info@yubasutterplay.org.
