MOD (Mobility On-Demand)
IMPORTANT: Effective Monday, October 12, 2026, MOD will replace the current Wheatland Route. MOD will provide connections to the local fixed route and/or travel within Wheatland city limits and Olivehurst. Key destinations include the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and shopping centers near the North Beale Transit Center in Linda.
What is MOD?
MOD is a shared, on-demand, corner-to-corner transit service that uses real-time technology to conveniently connect you to local fixed routes, popular locations, and areas without regular service within each service zone.
How does MOD work?
When you book with MOD, you’ll get a pick-up time window and directions to a nearby pick-up point through the app, or by text or a phone call. MOD is all about shorter wait time and faster connections to and from nearby transit hubs and destinations.
Additionally, MOD vehicles are safe and accessible, featuring wheelchair access, designated priority seating with securement areas, and an interior bike rack, making MOD easy to use.

Valid senior/disabled/youth photo I.D cards issued by another transit agency will be honored for up to 21 days. Medicare card and DMV placard holders may be required to provide photo I.D.

Learn How To MOD
- Get the App- Download the MOD Ride app (available in the App Store and Google Play) and create an account.
- Book Your Ride- Select where you want to go within the service zone. Tell us if you’re traveling with companions (up to 4) and if you have special mobility needs.
- Receive Your Pick-Up Time & Location-The app will offer you the best time and closest pickup location available. Confirm your ride and receive updates on your phone when your vehicle is on the way.
- Enjoy Your Ride-Board the MOD vehicle when it arrives and pay your fare when you board. Payments can be made with the Connect Card, cash, or ticket sheets.
