Meet the Yuba-Sutter Transit Board of Directors 

Yuba-Sutter Transit is governed by a Board of Directors that is composed of two elected representatives from each of the four-member jurisdictions: City of Marysville, City of Yuba City, Sutter County and Yuba County.

At their January meeting, the Board appointed Director Renick House as Chair and Director Toni Cole as Vice-Chair. Together, with the support of the Board of Directors, they contribute strategic insights, innovative ideas and a shared dedication to transportation needs in our community.

Below are the current members of the Board of Directors and the jurisdictions they represent:

Interested in attending a board meeting?

Regular monthly board meetings are held at 4:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Yuba County Government Center located at 915 8th Street in Marysville.

The next Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 19th at 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise noticed.

2025 Annual Executive Director Report Now Available

The recently released 2025 Annual Executive Director's Report offers a comprehensive overview of the agency's performance, strategic initiatives, and future plans, making it a valuable resource for board members, passengers, stakeholders, and the community at large. Yuba-Sutter Transit encourages all riders and community members to access the 2025 Annual Executive Director's Report online to stay informed about the agency's progress, challenges, and future direction.

Give the Gift of Transportation this Valentine’s Day!

Wouldn’t it be a great gift for your transit riding friends or loved ones to load a monthly pass or some cash value on their Connect Card? Just bring the nine-digit number from the back of their Connect Card to our Administrative Office and we can load it with cash or passes. Cards can hold up to $360 in cash value and/or passes for up to three months. Call (530) 634-6880 for more information.

Helpful Service Notes

• No Smoking Rule: Smoking of any kind is prohibited within 20 feet of any Yuba‑Sutter Transit bus, stop, bench, or shelter.
• Seat Etiquette: Please keep wet items and feet off empty seats so others don’t end up sitting in moisture.
• Lost & Found: Items left on buses are collected at the end of each service day and kept for at least 30 days before they are subject to donation to a non-profit organization of our choice. To check for lost belongings, call the Administration Office at (530) 634-6880.
• Office Hours: The customer service counter at 2100 B Street, Marysville is open weekdays 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m., closed for lunch.

Upcoming Holiday Service and Office Schedule 

Please note the following service holiday:

• Monday, February 16th – Yuba-Sutter Transit will not be in operation and the Administrative Office will be closed on Monday, February 16th in observance of the Presidents’ Day holiday.
