Yuba County Library's Touch A Truck Event is on June 12th

Yuba County Library’s annual Touch-A-Truck event returns this year on Friday, June 12th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This engaging family-friendly event offers children a unique opportunity to explore a variety of service and emergency vehicles up close.

Attendees will have the chance to explore numerous service vehicles, including a local fixed-route bus.

The event will take place at the Yuba County Government Center, which currently serves as the temporary location of the Yuba County Library, located at 915 Eighth Street, Marysville, CA.

Summer Stroll to Close Plumas Street on Saturday, June 20th

Join the 2026 Summer Stroll in Downtown Yuba City on June 20th, 3 PM - 9 PM, featuring food, entertainment, and kids' activities!

The annual Summer Stroll Festival will be held from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20th in downtown Yuba City. Plumas Street from Colusa Avenue to Bridge Street will be closed at 10:00 a.m. to set up for this major community event. Due to the early closure, Yuba-Sutter Transit’s service will be re-routed from Plumas Street that day.

Route 1 buses will operate on Olive Street between Colusa Avenue and Forbes Street and Route 2 will operate on Shasta Street between Colusa Avenue and Bridge Street. The Plumas Street bus stops at both Church and Bridge Streets as well as the Route 1 bus stops at Forbes and Almond will not be in service during this time.

Yuba-Sutter Transit will be participating in this year’s Summer Stroll event, so make sure to stop by to learn more about our services, get brochures or to just say hello!

Upcoming Holiday Service and Office Schedule

Please note the following service holiday:

  • No schedule changes for June.

Please note the following schedule changes for the month of July:

  • Friday, July 3rd – The Administrative Office will be closed, Sacramento routes will not operate, but all other services will operate as scheduled.
  • Saturday, July 4th – Yuba-Sutter Transit will not be in operation in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
