Join Us in Celebrating Transit Employee Appreciation Day
on Wednesday, March 18th

March is recognized as Transit Appreciation Month, with March 18th marking Transit Employee
Appreciation Day—a moment each year to celebrate transit employees and recognize the
essential service they provide.

Across Yuba‑Sutter Transit, every team member plays a vital role in keeping our community moving. Drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, maintenance crews, and supervisors have all contributed to a safe and reliable system for 50 years. Their dedication deserves recognition, and this month offers a chance to express our
gratitude. We invite you to join us in celebrating these essential workers and acknowledging the commitment they bring to our communities all year long.

Show your appreciation by giving your driver a little extra kindness that day—offer a cheerful ‘Good morning!’ or ‘Good afternoon!’ when you step onto the bus, and a heartfelt ‘Thank you!’ as you head out. A smile, a wave, or even a short note of gratitude can go a long way in brightening their day.

Bok Kai Parade Set for Saturday, March 21st

The 146th Bok Kai Festival, celebrating the Year of the Horse, will take place in downtown Marysville on Saturday, March 21st and Sunday, March 22nd. The centerpiece of this celebration is the beautiful and exciting Bok Kai Parade, which kicks off on Saturday, March 21st , followed by Bomb Day on Sunday.

Due to event street closures, Yuba-Sutter Transit’s Route 1 and Route 4 will not serve D & 2 Street and F & 2 Street in Marysville on March 21st.

The nearest alternative downtown stops in Marysville for Route 1 and Route 4 will be on 3rd Street at or near the Adventist Health and Rideout Hospital.

To view live bus locations and projected bus stop arrival times for fixed routes, download Passio GO! on a smartphone or visit passiogo.com to access the real-time bus tracking feature on a web browser.
