Yuba-Sutter Transit wants to hear from you! From May 15th through June 15th, Yuba-Sutter Transit will be conducting the 2026 Customer Satisfaction Survey, inviting passengers to share feedback on key aspects of their transit experience, including ride comfort, safety, service reliability, and overall satisfaction with Yuba‑Sutter Transit.

Feedback helps us improve our services and create an even better transit experience for everyone in our community.

Complete the survey for a chance to win!

Participants who complete the survey will be entered into a prize drawing for Yuba‑Sutter Transit (YST) travel essentials, including:

  • A cool YST‑branded backpack
  • A handy umbrella for any weather
  • A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated on the go

The online survey will be available in English, Spanish and Punjabi. To receive the survey directly by email, subscribe to our mailing list at yubasuttertransit.com/stay-informed.

Promoting May as Bike Month, encouraging participation in NorCal GO to log rides and win prizes.

Replace Car Trips with Bike Trips this May and Win Prizes

This May, Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates and NorCal GO invite you to take part in May is Bike Month, a region-wide challenge designed to make biking a fun, easy part of your daily routine.

Whether you’re commuting to work, riding to a nearby errand, or just getting outside for some fresh air, biking is one of the simplest ways to improve your day.

Participating is easy: join the challenge and start recording your bike trips throughout the month of May. Every ride counts – short trips, casual rides, and even partial bike commutes – they all help you build momentum.

Along the way, you’ll be joining thousands of others across the region who are choosing a healthier, more sustainable way to get around. And as an added bonus, participants who log 20 bike trips during May will be entered for a chance to win a $1,500 e-bike.

Whether you’re a regular rider or just getting started, May is the perfect time to try something new, explore your community, and experience the benefits of biking for yourself.

Start with one ride and see where it takes you. Join today at NorCalGO.org.

Yuba-Sutter Transit Bike Program and Bike Policies

All Yuba-Sutter Transit buses are equipped with two or three position bike racks for use on a first-come, first-served basis at no additional cost. No permit is required and there is no time or stop restrictions, but passengers are required to load, secure, and unload their own bike. Mopeds, motorized bikes and bikes with non-standard wheel and frame sizes that do not fit securely on the rack are not permitted.

Bikes are not allowed inside local fixed route or commuter buses unless it is the last bus of the day, or the bus has available underfloor storage space. This restriction does not apply to the rural route or Dial-A-Ride services where extra bikes are allowed inside if space permits.

If you prefer to leave your bike behind, space is available in the Yuba-Sutter Transit bike lockers at three of our Park & Ride Lots, though availability varies by location. Lockers are available with specific use limitations for $5 per month (three months minimum) or $50 a year, plus a $25 refundable key/security deposit.

For the occasional rider, an on-demand, two-position bicycle security and storage pod called a “BikeLid” is located at the Plumas Lake Park & Ride. It is available free of charge on a first come, first served basis using your own lock. It does not get much easier than that!

Visit yubasuttertransit.com to learn more about our bike program and policies.
