If you’re within the Yuba-Sutter area, you can take Route 1 or Route 2 and exit at Alturas and Shasta Terminal. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to the entrance of the Feather River Parkway, where you can enjoy the scenery of what is soon to be California’s next state park.
Catch a Show at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts
Enjoy a live show, screening, or concert at this 1950s vintage style theater. Take Route 1 and Route 2 stop in front of the Sutter Theater at Plumas and Church Streets.

Visit the Sutter County Museum to learn about the rich history of the Yuba-Sutter region, from the Native Americans who lived here pre-contact to the present. You can take Route 1 or Route 2 to the Sutter County Museum for a fun day of exploring.

Downtown Yuba City Night Market — Held on the third Thursday of each month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Center Street in Yuba City. Take Route 1 or Route 2 to the Plumas Street bus stops.
Certified Farmers Market at Town Square Fountain — Visit the market on Plumas Street every Saturday from May 9 through September 26, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon. Take Route 2 to Plumas Street at Town Square.
Stroll Down Plumas Street and Explore the Local Cuisine
Plumas Street is a great walkable main street to grab a bite to eat at Linda’s Soda Bar & Grill, or grab a coffee from Full Circle Coffee House. There are lots of great stops along this corridor.
