October 11, 2018, Marysville, CA – The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) is the regional transportation planning agency for all of Sacramento, Sutter, Yuba and Yolo counties.  SACOG holds a series of public hearings each year to determine if there are unmet transit needs that are reasonable to meet in the region.  The local hearing for the Yuba-Sutter area will be held on October 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm, at the Yuba County Government Center.  At this hearing, each attendee will be given the opportunity to provide comments on how Yuba-Sutter Transit can better serve transportation needs of local residents. The input from these hearings is used to make decisions regarding funding for public transportation in each local jurisdiction for the next fiscal year.
