Fare Free Local & Rural Routes During Thanksgiving Week 2021
November 15, 2021, Marysville, CA – To show our thankfulness for our passengers, no fares will be charged on any of Yuba-Sutter Transit’s local and rural routes during the weeklong Thanksgiving holiday period from Monday, November 22nd through Saturday, November 27th. To replace the lost revenue, the agency is funding this holiday event through a state grant to promote transit ridership.
During this special fare holiday, no special tickets or passes are needed as all local and rural route passengers will simply board the bus and ride fare-free. All other passenger policies will still apply, and we will continue to collect fares on the Dial-A-Ride and Sacramento services.
Yuba-Sutter Transit is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Yuba-Sutter Transit
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
