September is Transit Month!

This month, we’re celebrating transit, the buses, operators, and riders who keep Yuba-Sutter connected. Yuba-Sutter Transit is more than a trip. It connects our community to jobs, school, healthcare, community events, and everyday destinations while helping riders save money, reduce emissions, and ease traffic congestion.

If you’ve never tried transit, September is a great time to plan your first trip. Choose an easy destination - like a trip to downtown Sacramento, the farmers’ market, the movies, or a local event - and invite friends, family, or coworkers to ride along. Log Your Transit Trips, and Win Gift Cards on NorCal GO

In September, log transit trips on NorCalGo to enter weekly $25 gift card raffles. Download the app for more info!

The NorCal GO team is giving away almost 💸$500 worth of gift cards💸 to share with transit riders through weekly drawings for $25 gift cards and a special $100 gift card drawing at the end of the month.

To enter each week's drawing, a person must record at least one transit trip in NorCal GO during the timeframe (e.g., September 6-12, 2026; September 13-19; etc.) to be eligible to win one of three $25 gift cards. Each weekly drawing entry is also an entry into the end-of-the-month $100 Try Transit drawing. 

Winners are randomly selected and notified. All entrants will be notified after winners are confirmed. Odds of winning are 1 in 1500 or better. Gift cards will be fulfilled electronically by Tango.
